Syphilis In the late stage?

According to what i'v read, the late stage of syphilis is the most damaging (not suprisingly) and I think i'v had mine for around 6-7 years. I base this asumption that i have had awkward redrash-like bumps on my hands and feet that use to occur often (not so much any more-- uhoh?). Also this weird dot-web like pattern under my skin on the palms and top/sides of my feet (especially when i shower the heat turns these areas a bright red and the pattern is more visable)
More recently i discovered i have diminshing eyesite in my right eye.
So a couple questions.

Does everyone with syphilis in the late stage experience all the damage-- some more than others?

Does it progress slower/faster in some individuals?

Would i already have a lot of neurological damage by now if i have it?

Can it cause blindness in one eye and not the other?

Is it possible to get rid of the disease in the late stage? (not the damage-- just the disease)

From my previous experience on Yahoo answers, I am not gonna explain the entire physiology behind Syphilis. I am going to however, explain a few things. Primary Syphilis is characterized a painless chancre on the genitals, secondary is characterized by a rash on the palms and feet. This rash is known as a palmar rash. Either stage could be missed as the symptoms can be vague, though this is unlikely. Syphilis is weak and is highly treatable with almost any antibiotics, thus the reason why tertiary syphilis is most unheard of. In other words, you have syphilis and you don't know it . You go to the doctor for a sore throat, he prescribes you a Z pack. Inadvertently you cure the Syphilis without even knowing it.

As for the disease, yes it can be destroyed anytime, though the effects of Tertiary Syphilis are non reversible. I will mention again, Tertiary Syphilis is rare in this day and age and I have never seen it in the thousands I have treated. Just because it is rare doesn't mean it doesn't exist, I personally can attest that syphilis has grown enormously in my area of practice

Please keep it clean and wrapped..............It would be better to not join the ranks of: Napoleon, Al Capone, Van Gogh and possibly Adolf Hitler. But then again, who really give a f%ck what happened to Adolf, as long as he is dead.......................

If you are worried you have it, you should see a dr. and get tested so treatment can begin right away. Usually it takes quite awhile for late stage symptoms to appear.

Go to the Doctor. It is so easy to treat syphilis these days, I'm shocked that you have done nothing about it.
You aren't even sure that is what you have...

you should call your doctor and make an appointment...because you should be asking your doctor these questions...

Why haven't you discuses this with a doctor yet?
