Does anyone know what Cardiac Syndrome X is? My husband's been diagnosed but they can't explain it to us. |
My husband was diagnosed with this. He has had 5 cardiac "episodes" and has angina. He has had the test that they do going in thru the groin to your heart. His regular valves are ok, but he has narrowing of the tiny vessels at the bottom of the heart. He takes blood pressure medicine, but doesn't have high blood pressure and another heart medicine. They seem to work for him for a while, but then out of the blue he will have chest pains and we will go to the hospital and he will get hooked up to all the machines and everything comes back normal. When we tell them he has cardiac syndrome x they look at us like we have 3 heads. It is very frustrating for him and me both and we would like to know what it is and how to fix it. He also has extremely high cholesterol that his doctor says is because of genetics. Any help anyone can give me with this will be appreciated. After seeing your question I had searched the web for some king of answer to your question and came up with this web page My doctor told me that my cholesterol was genetics. So if his cholesterol is genetic? He should be on meds if it's that high because of that. You need to Google that Cardiac ssyndrome x and find a really clear explanation about it and take it with you next time you go to ER. Why doesn't he have a Cardiologist who can be called when he is there? Why don't they do something, It may be something serious that will help him but having small veins doesn't sound good with cholesterol high. Has he tried niacin for the cholesterol. They have a non flushing kind now. Go to NUTRITION EXPRESS website and order the catalog and look up some things that may help him. Sometimes you have to help yourself and not put your life in the hands of a DR> But, I prefer using both. Especially with something serious. You need to educate yourselves. Write down the words you don't understand and then google tham until you get a clear picture of the disorder. OK? OK> Hello, |
