Is nuero cardio syncope a nuerological problem or a cardiac problem?

Is nuero cardio syncope a nuerological problem or a cardiac problem?

Neurological. Basically, the nerves (s) that stimulates the heart is "copping out" and just not working.

Syncope (fainting) is a common medical condition. Although frequently thought of as a condition with a neurological origin, it鈥檚 actually a cardiovascular problem
During syncope blood circulation to the brain is reduced, resulting in temporary loss of consciousness. 2 reasons for fainting is arrythmia or neurocardiogenic (vasovagal) syndrome. In neuro cardiogenic syncope, blood vessels tend to expand, which leads to pooling of blood in the lower parts of the body. As a result, less blood reaches the brain and this causes fainting. The usual stimulus for this action resides in the nerves of the heart-hence the term neurocardiogenic. Its usually treated with medications that reduce the probability of cardiac nerves triggering the cycle that leads to lightheadedness, dizziness or fainting.
