Will drinking 60 ounces of water a day make me gain or lose weight? please help!?

i have a condition called vasovagual syncope and im required to drink this much water. but im VERY skinny 98 pounds and i refuse to gain weight, and if it doesn make you gain weight how can i prevent this while still drinking the water. please help im desperate!

you should be drinking at least 64 ounces a day anyway. Water fills you up and flushed you out so it actually helps you lose weight. I drink twice that a day easily but I don't drink sodas or anything. Don't worry you'll be fine.

there isnt anything wrong with gaining weight when you weigh 98 pounds. my advice is don't worry about it and do as the doctor orders... good luck =)

if you don't normally drink that much water a day, then drinking it will help you lose weight. Maybe not a lot since you are very skinny, but it will definetly make you a lot healthier. Your skin will look better and you'll feel better.

i think water helps lose weight and ask your doctor they probably know

gain until you pee it out then lose

Drinking water does not make you gain weight. Water does not even have any calories so it is not going to create fat on your body. I try to drink that much every day and I believe it helps me to stay trim. Please don't take offense, but it sounds like you are obsessed with staying under 100 pounds. Are you a jockey or a wrestler or something? If that is the case, I think you should ask your coach. Of course if you drink 2 pounds of water, you have 2 pounds of water in you. But you will get rid of it.

I drink about 100 oz of water everyday...and I'm skinny.
