Can swollen glands (on neck, beneath chin) be a psychological symptom?

I read the symptoms of a disease I was worried I might have (mono), but the symptoms that made me worry initially are starting to disappear or improve (congestion, sore throat, loss of appetite) while the symptom that I read about that I didn't have (swollen glands) I now feel (on my neck). I wonder, could this be psychological? As in I just think I should have swollen glands so I make myself feel that way? Or is this a really stupid question and if I feel like I have them I definitely do?

your perception of how the glands feel may be heightened, and continued fiddeling with the glands may cause sensitivity, but not to the point to where they will swell unless you're messin with em. Lymph nodes may swell from time to time as they are part of the immune system. May want to check it out, but they do not respond to psychological distress for the most part.

Go see your Doctor immediately, he should be the only to give the proper diagnosis.

It very well could be bronchidos.. i may not have spelled it right my daugher went to the dr this morning and her glands were all swollen the doc said thats what it was
