Is Swollen glands caused by vocal training, karoake singing and the use of a communal microphone? |
I had a mild discomfort in the throat area which graduated into a bad sore throat and swollen glands. Ran a high fever, after a night of chronic coughing, resulted in pain around the lower chest and lower back pain. After a course of antibiodics, fever has subsided, the cough has tapered but I still feel sore around throat area. Doctor told me the glands around my throat are very badly swollen. My question is since I have taken up vocal training recently, could the cause be due to my vocal training (from low to high pitch), karoake singing and the use of a microphone which is shared by many people. Pls advise. It sounds like you have had an infection, it would not have been caused by the things you mention. |
