I suffer with sinus infection about every 3 mo. It effect my left side get stiff my ear feels like swimmer ear

Dr. always give me a z pack, wich work for a while, allegra-D-24 and cingalar.

become a vegetarian it will totally clear up.

the histamine froms from the meat eatting and gives rise from the stomach, it travels to the sinus cavities and thus that clear runny snot.

o dood.
just start putting wasabi on stuff.

you need some antibiotics, take as prescripted and make sure you take every pill and if you think you need a refill make sure you get it. Bacteria infections can be hard to get rid of since if you do not wipe them out they will just come back stronger and harder to get rid of.

Me too, regarding the sinus infections. Use sweet oil for your ear and keep with the allegra d or Clariton d. On top of the allegra/claitin, i also take Sudafed nasal decongestion/sinus headache meds. I'm not dead yet. Oh and by the way, don't take the non-drowsy meds--take the ones that don't say non drowsy at bedtime. You'll get better faster.

make sure and try to take care of any allergy problems, as they happen,,,,, either by perscription medsd or over the counter,, as irritation can then lead to sinus infection,,,,,, but if you are getting it every 3 months, it sounds like you may need a new medication for it,,,,, as its not totally going away,,,, sometimes it takes a double dose of the meds,, meaning two perscriptions,,,,,,,, dont know which type dr you are seeing, but a eye/nose/throat doctor might be a good idea for a second opinion on this

Keep taking you meds. You might want to invest in a honey well hep-ha air machine. If you live in the south get a dehumidifier. Also what type of vacuum cleaner do you own? (it should be a bagless with a filter) Keep the dust up,have someone dust weekly

Try cleaning with saline solution, available at any grocery store/pharmacy. Tilt your head sideways and inject into a nostril until it comes out the other nostril. Not real pleasant but it completely cleans the sinus.

My sympathies, sinus infections are miserable.
Make an appointment with your family physician so he can determine that it is another sinus infection. Remind him that you are getting these infections on a regular basis; then TELL him that you want to see a specialist (usually an eye, ear, nose doctor). He will refer you.
Treatment by the specialist will be no picnic but the results are worth it.
Good Luck!
