Will it hurt you to go underwater with swimmers ear? |
I have swimmers ear and i really want to know if i can go underwater in my pool and if not than how can i get it out quick and easy or atleast to where i can go underwater Absolutely do not go in swimming with swimmers ear. The infection must clear first. You could lose your hearing not to mention the extreme pain that goes with it. you really should avoid swimming but if you must you should get the wax ear plugs that mold to your own ear. Yes, it will hurt. You shouldn't go underwater until it is gone! If you already have swimmers ear, you should avoid going underwater until it goes away. It can definitely add to the pain you already have. A few drops of rubbing alcohol is good to use for drying excess water in the ear canal. Once it does go away try using ear plugs to avoid swimmers ear. dont go in the water till it goes away |
