What helps with swimmers ear??? |
I got swimmers ear! Swimmers ears are rough some times! You can get the stuff at CVS or Eckards that is specifically for swimmers ears, but you can try putting peroxide in your ear and lay on your side, and let the peroxide help dry it out! Make sure you dump the peroxide out in the tub and don't get it on your clothes it will bleach them! Good Luck! There are actually ear drops called Swimmer's Ear that help prevent it and could help cure it. Get a washcloth and wet it. Put it in the microwave for about get some isopropal alcohol and drip it into your ears. let it sit in each ear for 30 secs and then drain it out. do after each swim. there is a product called swimmers ear that you put in your ears after swimming, showering, etc. Try putting a very hot cloth on your pillow and lay your ear on it. This should pull the water out and make it feel better. take a dropper with 50/50% alcohol and vinegar. then use ear plugs while swimming. I work at Rite Aid, and they sell all types of swimmer's ear medication in the first aid aisle. These would probably help you. However, peroxide usually works -- you just have to put up with annoying bubbling for a short while. I have swimmers ear and the best thing to do is go to go the clinic and get ear drops mabey take a tylenal or ibeprophen it is very painful and after you go swimming each time the doctor told me to mix 2 parts of rubbing alochal and 1 part white viniger |
