Ear pain...could it be swimmers ear?PLEASE HELP!!?

I have a pool in my house and I go daily or once every few days. I have now been having ear pain in both of my ears, the right one hurting more. My mom bought me anti bacterial drops but the pain hasn't gone away. I have also noticed that my jaw is a little sore and my ear aches/itches but when i scratch (sp?) it,it hurts. PLEASE HELP!!

To stormdaemon: It didn't start hurting right away... It ached first. Now it hurts and aches...

Have you tried to equalize the pressures on both sides of your eardrums by holding your nose and blowing air into the inside of your sinus cavities causing them to pop and equalize to the same pressure as the outside of your eardrums ? It's what they teach in scuba diving classes to alleviate the pain the pressure of the water causes as you go down to deeper depths. Give it a try but don't blow hard, just ease into it until your ears pop. If you have any congestion in your sinuses while swimming or diving you might not be able to equalize and that really hurts. Or by just blowing your nose after initially going into the water , that sometimes will equalize everything. Don't blow your nose in the pool.

Swimmer's ear shouldn't be painful, at least not right away. At worse you should hear a scratching in your ear before you start experiencing pain. You might want to go see a doctor about it, because it sounds like you might have a more serious infection.

Yes it could be swimmers ear. They have some medicine for it called Swimmers Ear and it works great. It could also be a tooth infection. I agree with Storm, you should see a doctor.
