Can you be addicted to artificial sweeteners? Addictions are largely a state of mind. So yes, you can be addicted to anything. I am sure you can. They are sweet like sugar, and sugar is kinda addictive. Some people have to have their sugar fix, so I guess you could need your artificial sweetener fix. Dont know if I would call it a addiction, but one,s taste buds are use to the artificial sweetner, but that can be changed by just getting use to using regular sugars I suspose.
