Hiccups and artificial sweetener? |
Okay, I know that substances like aspartame and splenda aren't the best for health, but just recently I switched from regular sodas to diet. And, I've been hiccuping like crazy! Is this something that's happened to anyone else? And, if it's somehow connected, why? That is an awesome question to ask. I tried to search the internet for a direct answer to your question but couldn't find one direct source, but while I was searching, I noticed that diet soda contains more carbonation than regular soda, which would result in someone being more prone to hiccups. forget diet or regular, your body will thank you with lots of water You may be having an allergic reaction. The best cure...slice of lemon, dash bitters (bartenders use to make drinks). Instant cure! |
