Skin conditions...?

what are some skin conditions that can leave little spots of pale skin...im like a dark almond color an have a pale cream colored spot on my thigh..an my leg.

an im an almond color now cuz i have a tan but usually im like the color of a baked pie crust.

It may be vitiligo. Melanocytes make melanin, the pigment that gives skin its color. Stress or different types can result in death of the melanocytes and, where they are gone, the only color will be given by the skin itself.

Did you hurt or scratch yourself in those areas?

I suggest you see a dermatologist. If it is vitiligo there is no much that can be done but it would be good to make sure there is nothing bad going on.

Don't know but it runs in my family. I'm light and have an even lighter spot on my leg.

sounds normal, some people get a disease that causes lots of those spots and if you get more and they turn pink in color then i would see a doctor otherwise dont worry too much, take care and have a good summer
