Laser treatment for bad skin conditions, particulary excema?

I'm probably just dreaming but is there? If so, has anyone here had it? And has it worked?

There are lots of treatments for excema and psoriasis including creams, tablets, injections & UV light treatment.

There are laser treatments but it's normally only done for people with extremely severe psoriasis not excema as it can lead to worse problems than the excema it is treating, you could probably get it done privately altho that would be very expensive.

A dermatologist (skin doctor) will be able to give you creams (always prescribed first of all) many cases of excema are cleared with these creams, the tablets & light treatment are for severe cases again due to the possible worse side effects such as liver failure (certain tablets) and permenant skin damage due to the light treatments.

Give the doctor prescribed skin creams a try first, the side effects of the other treatments can be worse than the skin condition it's treating

There is laser treatment for acne, but I've never heard of laser treatment for excema. Best advice I could give is try a good emollient like E45, failing that speak to a dermatologist. Your GP should be able to recommend one.

Please see the webpage for more detais on Eczema. Laser has been used to destroy tumour cells. Laser has been successfuly used in the detachment of retina. Improperly used, laser can be extremely dangerous.
