Skin cancer!? |
i have a small flat spot on my leg and its a really dark sorta black spot..iv herd storys of people gettin skin cancer and i was just wondering if my spot might be it? i do have a history of goin to a lot of tanning beds and stuff Lots of people have and develop spots and blemishes on thier skin and for the most part they are nothing to worry about. Keep an eye on this spot, if it grows, changes in shape or color or ever bleeds have it checked out by a dermatologist. It is probably not cancer, but have it checked if it changes at all. It May Be Cancer... Because You Get Skin Cancer I wouldn;t be worried at this point of any sort of carcinoma, however you should go to the doctor or a dermatologist to have it checked out. Diagnoses via web is not an exact diagnosis. Make the appointment. There is no way to tell over the Internet. If you have a history of a lot of sun exposure, even fake sun, it is best if you get it checked out by a doctor. Please, go see a doctor. It may be nothing, and then again it may. My husband is fighting an acute melanoma. Luckily we found it ASAP. DO NOT IGNORE something if you have a gut feeling. Better to find out that it is nothing to be concerned about than to hear, "if you had only come in sooner". it probably isn't, but get it checked soon to be sure. Hi, as I'm sure you know tanning definately will increase the chances of skin cancer. What you have on your leg sounds like it was once a beauty mark that perhaps got darker? I heard that if they get black it can be bad and you should check it out. |
