Skin Cancer or Wart? |
I have this small bump on my thigh. It's about the size of an eraser and is smooth and shiny. It's been there for about 6 months. I can't tell if its a wart under the skin, a rising or skin cancer. Any ideas? I believe that you may have a condition called Hidradenitis Supprativa. It is re-occurring boils/ cysts/abscesses that are often misdiagnosed as ingrown hairs, herpes, being unclean or over weight and folliculitis. This is a newly diagnosed skin condition , but there is a lot of info out there if you are looking. DEFINETLY CANCER... SORRY BUT YOU GOT ABOUT 3 MONTHS TO LIVE! It is always best to get this kind of thing checked out, see your doctor. If it is anything serious then you need to know immediately to enable treatment to begin as soon as possible, if it is something like a wart your doc can help you, if it is nothing to worry about then your doc can put your mind at ease. Good luck. I think you should realy see a doctor about this, don't ask people on the internet such important questions...I mean, it's your health after all! you didn't really say what color it is. if it is black, or red, or multicolored, then you should deffinatly be checked for skin cancer. and also if it has been there for 6 months and has not changed any, then it probably isn't skin cancer. |
