Sjogren's Syndrome?

Does anyone know how to help someone with this disease using nutrition, homeopathy, aromatherapy and any other complementary therapy?

The person has been diagnosed by a hospital but is anxious to help themselves. They have no other immune disorder at present.

Sjogren's Syndrome is another one of about 100 auto immune disorders.

N-acetyl cisteine (NAC) can help restore the moisture.

But it's better to eliminate the source of the problem, which is yeast overgrowth. It's overgrown yeast that pokes holes in the intestinal lining which allows food particles to pass through without being broken down. This leads to auto-immune disorders.

Here is what I would take in addition to the NAC:

1- Olive leaf extract or Candistroy (to get control over the overgrown yeast.)
2- PB-8 or another excellent probiotic (to keep the yeast from spreading again.)
3- Glutamine (5 gms 2x a day) or IntestiNew (to patch up intestinal holes)
4- An excellent multi-enzyme (that's different than a multi-vitamin) (to break down your food better)

Good luck and be well.

Sjogren's disease the second last in Miriam Brazel's list

This is the link to my web page regarding hormone tests
http://uk.geocities.com/willim_walker@bt... and Miriam Brazel's page

This appears to list some symptoms which are on Miriam's list
http://www.naturalencyclopedia.com/index...

Have the person :-
1 do an on line hormone test http://www.johnleemd.com/store/resource_...

2 do an appropriate saliva test and obtain results

3 get results & discuss with a NPIS doctor or educate their GP/MD

search the web for "natural progesterone sjogren's" and you will come across web pages which hopefully point you in the right direction to assist the person.

Have you tried a Yahoo search for "sjogren's syndrome" + treatment (OR cures OR remedies)?
