This wqas one of my test result?

SM/RNP Anibody

SM/RNP AB Interprstation

3.00 ( H) Positive (A) <OR=1.00 Negative

RNP Antibodies are found in mixed connective tissue Disease (MCTD, SLE RA Sjogren's Syndrome, Progressive systemic sclerosis, and drug induced LE.the presence ofRNP Antibodies in the absence of SM and DNA Antibodies suggests MCTD,while the absence of RNP usually rules out MCTD.

I work in a clinical Laboratory and performed this test many times.
You got one positive result for SM / RNP
Smith Antibody (SM), /
Ribonucleic Protein (RNP) Antibody
your result is three times higher than the normal cut off ( 3.0 vs. 1.0)
Many people have pos. results and no symptoms at all, the body makes sometimes Auto-antibodies against it's own tissue. Sometimes there are found pos by accident, means the MD was not even looking for this, he wanted to rule something else out.
Here is more info about MCTD

Hope it does not scare you too much.
