Doctor problems. I just don't get it!?

I've been sick since September 14th as to what would appear as a flair up. I have missed a lot of work and really feel as if I have been suffering. I have been getting sick off and on since June 2006. The doctors at Mayo Clinic are unable to find ANYTHING, other than I have an inflammation process going on somewhere in my body and they said it was Sjogren's Syndrome. I have been through a battery of liver tests with everything coming back normal EXCEPT my liver enzymes. They were mildly elevated. When I started taking Omega fatty 3 acid, they normalized. I feel that since they have started the testing back in June 2006, all the symptoms are getting worse. I have right sided pain now. It's hard for me to eat. They tell me NOTHING is wrong with me. I'm depressed now and VERY lethargic! I spend a lot of time in bed.

I'm going to get a second opinion, but I feel like I should be on that show mystery diagnosis. Any suggestions?

Please go and get a 2nd opinion if you are not happy with the Doctors you have seen. Many Doctors these days dont give a dam I should say some doctors dont give a dam..I had a shocking experience with Doctors last year. Please it is your body and health so be persistent until you get answers.Dont give up just be persistent.Good luck.

Definitely get a second opinion, a third and a fourth until you start getting some answers. Saying that, have you had and tooth fillings? My aunt did and was ill from the mercury amalgam they used and when they were all taken out she was fine again.
Or could it be something to do with the invironment you live/work in? Do you live by a chemical plant, and sort of processing plant or factory, electric power lines/mobile phone masts? These can also contribute to people feeling ill, it can effect people in different ways, from no symptoms to somebody else being crippled with pain in bed.

I hope you get your answers soon and are well again as soon as possible - good luck

You definitely should get a second opinion, for your own peace of mind. In the meantime here is the link to the topic at webmd: http://arthritis.webmd.com/tc/Sjogrens-S... This may help you better understand the syndrome and why you are feeling like you do. You need to find a doctor who will help you learn to live with this syndrome.

I wish you well!

I am glad you are getting a second opine.

What type of health coverage you have does effect your quick treatment

Have you stopped taking any type of pain pills like Tylenol, and for sure not liquor.

Get a second opinion and have them check your gallbladder if they have not done it already.
