Cold weather & sinusitis? |
i live in a tropical country and i'm planning to migrate to cold country with seasonal sub zero temperature. i am suffering from chronic sinusitis. my questions are: Your biggest concern will be the change in humidity. The cold weather will dry you out if you are used to living in a warm, moist climate. Make sure you get some nasal moisturizers (they are sprays but w/out drugs, just saline, etc.) and stay hydrated. If you think cold water triggers your sinusitis, then drink room-temperature water. Stay inside as much as you can when it is very cold. Good luck. I have had sinus trouble for a long time but have been getting some relief from taking generic Claritin that I get from Sam's Wholesale club. I take it every night. |
