Sinusitis?

I believe I'm currently suffering from sinusitis. My mucus comes out orange and smells terrible and the entire right side of my head hurts. Are there any things I can do to alleviate the pain and fix the stench? I had sinusitis the same time last year and my doctor perscribed some Rhinocort nasal spray that expired March 2008. I still have a bit in the bottle, is it wise to use it? Thanks in advance for the responses.

OK take 1 tsp of salt and 2 cups of warm water then suck it up your nose this breaks up all the nasty gunk my uncle told me bout this and it works so so so well and its like natural tears~~also the med u have is still good and with this u will need to c a Dr to get a antibotic to clear it up~~~but the salt water will work awsome~~~~~~~

It fine if the date is 3/2008. Also try steam and sleep slightly elevated. I have had the same thing going on for a week !

That is not sinusitis. It sounds to me like you picked up a bug somewhere and you need an antitbiotic. See a doctor.

go to a clinic as soon as possible

march 2008 is still to come, if it expired this year, please don't use it. Go back to your doc. I suffer with my sinuses, but gees there's no stench. You've got a severe case of something. Go back to your doc.

Infection in the sinus can become dangerous if left un treated, and the sent tells that there is and infection, go to the Dr. And don't use the expired med, get a new one from the Dr. It sounds serious

It sounds like you have an infection. You need to see your doctor ASAP to determine what type of infection it is and to have them prescribe the right type of medication for you.

Hope you feel better soon!

Try to ask for a second opinion, sometimes it helps to have a wide options about your treatment, as well it has to be done more studies than just something local as the nasal spray. If is an allergy to at least let you know what are you allergic to, in some cases to dust, to pine trees, smoke, etc. to know exactly what it is it will help you to avoid those. Good luck and take care!
