Is there any connection between Sinusitis and Hearing Loss...???

One of the doctors suggested my friend to go for hearing tests (audiometry tests) when my friend is suffering from Sinusitis... Please let me know is there any connection between Sinusitis and Hearing loss...?? Is it compulsory for a person to go for Audiometry tests when he/she is suffering from Sinusitis...?? Will the blocked ears can become to normal when the Sinusitis completely cured..?? Howmany days it will take to become normal..??

your auditory tubes are connected to the back of where your nose drains to the back of your throat. so if your sinuses are draining or clogged they have a way of draining to your ear. The drainage then forms fluid behind the ear drum and can cause an ear infection. If not treated properly scar tissue can build up on the ear drum and cause a decrease of hearing.

this happened to my son and he is on his second set of tubes due to fluid build up.

Everything in the body is connected.
Take the advice and check out this connection.
The body is "out of balance" when it presents a symptom.
I don't think anything is compulsory, but when going to a doctor you are saying that you will undertake to listen to what they diagnose.

The cure, and the way the cure will transpire in your friends body is relative to many things.
State of health, diet, environment, emotional situation and their needs and wants relative to a cure.
The body in dis-ease is sending a signal that something is "not working well".
One can look at this from a purely physical perspective or go deeper in reasons.
A medical doctor may be looking at the physical symptoms only.
Homoeopathy is more all encompassing, as well as naturopathy, and the world of herbs.
It is good to combine some "natural" cure, with the allopathic cure as this helps with the "why" this has come about.
