Do shoulder injuries heal well with time? |
I injured my rotater cuff lifting weights (too much weight, improper form, just over-did it). Its been two months now, and it is a little bit better. That depends on your body. Remember that no one person has the same body as another persons. You say that it feels better. I also lift weights and have seen guys injured their shoulder. Some guys will ignore the pain for a week or so and then continue back at the gym the smart one go and see their doctor. You only have one shoulder. Ther rotator cuff is a very delicate part of the shoulder. I know I used to work in the operating room and have seem hundreds of rotator cuff surgeries. It may heal but not in the proper form. Is it still sore? If it is-don't do anything yet, or it will be aggravated again and re-injure. |
