Does anyone know anything about shoulder injuries? |
I play rugby, and last spring during a game, I got tackled and I think my arm was stretched out above my head when it happened. It really hurt that day to the point where I was in tears, and I hate crying in front of other people. Anyways, the pain went a way in a few days, but I've realized that when I do an activity that involves my shoulder (like tennis), it has a lot of pain for about a week after. Also, I can make my shoulder pop and crack about 10 different ways and its really gross. My dad told me that I probably just stretched my tendons because I'm still young and I have to leave it alone for them to go back, but I did that almost all summer. I just want to know if anyone else has any other ideas. well it probably is just stretched stop playing rugby that will help See a doctor-you may have had a shoulder dislocation then which was spontaneously reduced, went untreated, and now gone into shoulder joint laxity. It is unusual for anyone to pop and crack his shoulder unless he has congenitally loose joints. Your best bet is an orthopedist. i hope that you just stretched the tendons , because i don't wish shoulder surgery on anyone , i ripped both my biceps completely offf at the long head , which required major surgery , , and a long ,drawn out battle in court with work comp, and my previous employer ,now that i am unemployed do to they threw me out like yesterday's garbage , because i sued them twice now , after the first injury ,they refused to pay for my second ,and third injuries , after 10+years at the same job , please go to a doctor though , good luck |
