What kind of shoulder injury would you think this is? |
When I was younger 12-25 I player fast pitch and slow pitch. I played center field in fast pitch and rover in slow pitch. So lots of throws from the out field to home. Never felt a whole lot of pain then but I haven't played in 4 years cause of having babies. And now I can't go an entire day without feeling pain. I know a lot of it has to do with holding my children but what is the most likely injury I could have had and what would be the treatment. I also use to get massages when I was about 23 and my massage therapist said she had never felt that much scar tissue in a person my age. Yikes, sounds like a torn/strained rotator cuff. Could it be a past disloaction rotate cuff hands down. you could have tear (worst case) or just over stressed it. I'm a competitive swimmer. and rotator cuff injuries is a problem that can end somebodies career. last year I hyperextended in my pull out in butterfly. I hurt like H***. I couldn't move my arm for almost 2 weeks without bring tears to my eye's. 2 months later I had a MRI and they told me I didn't have a tear, but I did dislocate it, and it was very weak. after 2 months of PT I was back to swimming. |
