Swimmer's Shoulder Injury? |
I've been a competitive swimmer since the age of 9 (I'm 16 now). A few years ago when i did my backstroke start, i injured my shoulder - not sure what I did - never had it checked...Now for high school swimming, i have a sharp pain in my shoulder for the recovery and pull-through phases of my butterfly and freestyle strokes. What is wrong with my shoulder and what should I do about it? I used to swim. My shoulders click now and they pop here and there. I do not get pain, as you do. But, we are not engineered for so much locomotion by our arms. |
