Repetitive Shoulder Injury? |
So I like to play volleyball, but for the past 3 years I have blown out my shoulder. I have done PT (physical theripy) for it, but I am worried that I will blow it out again serving or hitting. What are the chances of that happening?? And it was stretched out ligaments around the socket and the shoulder blade compensating. So if I did blow it out, could I tear something this time, and if I did would I have to have surgery to correct it? what do you mean "blow it out again"..sounds like you strained it..if you had an MRI and there was no tear..you need to keep doing the exercises religiously that the PT told you about...If you tear your rotator cuff then yes they would scope it and repair it u might tear something u should stop playing sports for a while Ask your doctor cause I really don't know. |
