What type of shoulder injury do you think I have?


I was doing shoulder press, and I brought the weight down too far (all the way down to my mid-chest). My shoulder didn't hurt right after, rather it hurt the next day.

I know exactly what you are talking about, because I too have hurt my shoulder doing shoulder press. In my experience, it is just a minor injury that will pass with time. If it continues to hurt past day 2 I would go and see a doctor.

Also, we sometimes forget the adverse affects that stretching has. I stretch before every workout, and trust me it has done wonders. I don't hurt as much because I am lengthening my muscles and encouraging blood flow.
