Shortness of Breath?!?

my grandfather is in icu with syptoms of shortness of breath and sweating. About 3 days ago he was walking to the train station when he started sweating great amounts and was gasping for breath. Sombody called an ambulance, when they got to the hospital thwey took alot of tests of his heart and gave him medication to relax his vessels. Then thiis morning he could not catch his breath and is in the hospital agauin. Im really scared. Is there any disease this sounds like. Heart attacks run in the family. but th e doctors confirmed the 1st time was not a heart attack

It could be unstable angina, congestive heart failure, Congestive obstructive pulmonary disease, pulmonary hypertension and many other things none of which are good. If your grandfather is in ICU he is receiving excellent care.

teach him proper breathing, atleast for 1min tell him to inhale,(hold breathe for few seconds) and exhale (hold again), keep on repeating it till you reach 1minute
