Shock or what?

I've experienced this..state of condition..more than once. I'll explain it momentarily. I seem to only find myself in this state when I am in pain (I'm hypersensitive to pain) from having injections, blood drawn or some other form of pain that involves a sharp pain or my skin breaking causing blood loss. The symtoms are what I feel is shock; I am often disoriented, nauseated, I get weak, light headed, cold then I go into a flash fever with perfuse sweating although I am pale and cold to touch, vomiting, and I often black out. Sometimes after I vomit I come back around. On the rare occasion I've had a violent episode, loss of pulse and onset of system failure, just from having blood work. None of it is controllable. Has anyone else experienced this? I've researched shock and the symtoms don't quite add up but I can't seem to find any other rational explanation for this. Any thoughts, web links or information would be appreciated. Serious responses only, I don't want idiots responding.

A serious answer, but mainly thoughts and not based on anything but my experience as nurse.
Hypersensitivity to pain can cause severe problems anyway, the body over reacting and sending out all sorts of nerve impulses (electrical activity) and sending out adrenaline and noradrenaline. That would explain some of your symptoms. That combined with the blood loss (not a lot I know but if you have pain hypersensitivity you may well have very sensitive biofeedbacks which notice even the small amount of blood being taken) could well result in your problems.
Solution...maybe ask to have the blood drawn whilst laying down, it will at least help maintain your blood pressure and possibly stop the blackouts.
I hope that maybe my musings have helped you;

I am sorry about your problem, I can get cut gashed, but when I get a needle for anything I get nauseated, but what happens to you really sounds awful.

anxiety have you been checked for seizures disorder,
you need to be referred to a neurologist for a complete exam
God bless you! I am so sorry you are experiencing this,

Have you been checked for sleeping disorders?
This needs to be investigated. Contact the Mayo clinic if you are an adult. IF you are a teen, Saint Jude's hospital in Memphis Tennessee is completely about care not about your ability to pay,
You need a team of specialists and the right hospital.
My sister nurse is on to something,
Sensitivity like your is rare; but i believe treatable, Never give up, keep fighting searching for your answers,

I will pray for you! God bless you,That God puts people in your life to guide you love protect you and to h elp you to live a whole healthy happy full filling life!

I have a friend that has almost the same problem. As I told her. My heart goes out to you. Hopefully in time, you will overcome it. I will ask her if she has any info on it.

Good luck

A Vaso Vagal response is common in a lot of people that are nervous and "sensitive" to pain or bloody sight.
The nervous system sends the images to the brain and causes an escalation of events to be unpleasant during the process you either feel sweaty and turning pale, eventually passing out.
Just like seeing a baby being born in the ward or a cut finger in the garden. A small amount of blood or an oncoming needle at the clinic can send the nervous person these unpleasant images to the brain. This is something you will have to live with and not easily worked out. Time will heal. Prepare yourself and try hard not to escalate your nervousness. Some how the mind is a very powerful thing over our body.
