I get electric shock type pains in my left foot (on the top) started about 6 weeks ago like twinges now SHOCKS

The shock type pains come unexpectedly and go after a minute or less. The pains are getting worse as time goes on. Just had the worst attack ever, very frightening. Anyone know what this is?

this sounds like sciatica
this is caused by the sciatic nerve that runs from the back down the leg to become trapped very slightly
causing the sensation you have just described
sometimes the area that it is trapped is the hip area
piriformus related
try to see a sports injury therapist they might be able to assess and get to the root of the problem and release it

I did 6 months ago then went to see a podiatrist and found out that i have a broken bone in my foot so before its too late go see a podiatrist rightaway

It sounds live a nerve problem, like neuritis. Go to your
family doctor, if he doesn't know he should refer you
