Shingles???????? |
I have something on my back close to my shoulder that resembles shingles but i'm not sure if that's what it is. i heard that you get very severe pain with them and i do have some sharp pains every now and then but not severe. of course it did just show up like yesterday so i don't know if that's too early for pain or not. it's a bunch of small bumps in one area so i know it's not poison ivy or anything. they were itching but now they are just tender and they have heads like blisters or something. does anyone know what it could be? Shingles generally start as a broad pain on one side of the body and then a rash (bumps and blisters) forms soon after. If there is any indication you might have shingles go to a doctor immediately. The treatment becomes much more difficult if the virus isn't diagnosed early. Treatment for the disease has improved drastically over the last couple decades but can still be very painful and debilitating if not caught early. |
