Shingles??????????????????????...


i got this really weird thing on my hip and it is really red and blotchy and it started out as just a scab then an two more than 8 little ones then it got puffy and red and it looks disgusting my docter said it might be shingles but i looked up sumthin on the computer and it said tat you cannot get shingles unless u have had chicken pox befor i have not ever but i have had the shot 4 it and i don't know much about shingles if they are life threatining or not just as well i might not have them at all but i think i do. if you know for a fact that this red blotchy bump is shingles please tell me and if it is not please tell me what it is and info about it

i also put on a bandaid and neosporin

It'd be hard to diagnose without seeing it, but it could be shingles, and shingles are nothing to worry about, other than being a little uncomfortable..

You can still get shingles if you have either had chicken pox or had the vaccine. Report It

Jeff S - a little uncomfortable - your nuts! Sorry, but you must have had the slightest case ever! I never had so much pain and I went through 3 c-sections, plus a host of other things. You'd better talk to some other people who have really experienced the pain of Shingles! Report It
