Shingles, do I need medical advice?

I'm pretty sure I have shingles, I have a rash which is raised and has blisters and on my abdomen and my hip is aching a lot. What I want to know is, do I need to go to a doctor? I'm 90% sure it is shingles as what I have seen and read is the same as what I have but as there seems to be no cure and you have to just let it run its course, do I really need to see a doctor?

Thankfully it only seems mild and other than the ache and the itching I don't seem to be too ill - no headaches or fever maybe just a bit more tired than usual

Dear Sister, you can contact DR RAJAN T.D via email and he being an expert dermatologist based in MUMBAI will give you the best opinion. He has been my skin doctor since last 10 and half years and believe me he is an expert in his field. All the best

Yes, if you have Shingles you may become very ill. You need to see your doctor at once. Good luck and be well.

if u suspect u have shingles u do need to see a doctor shingles generally come out in adults and are similar to chicken pox they are highly dangerous especially if they spreak to throat and other areas i would suggest to seek medical advise promptly
