Donation drive for shaken baby syndrome?

My daughter and her friends would like to start a donation drive for shaken baby syndrome. The eice of oneof their friends was recently afflicted with this totally preventable illness. We need some tips on how to get startede and an organization for them to donate to.

You might try starting with the March of Dimes. I believe they do a lot of work with handicap children. There is also the National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome. I think this is their website www.dontshake.com
