Sexual Assault Recovery?

About 10 years ago my girlfriend was sexually assaulted when she was a child. She seems to have put the past behind her and locked what happened away somewheres in her mind. But it has always been a problem with our sex lives.
What I am truly concerned about is that it seems during the night at some point while she's sleeping she takes her nails to her vagina and claws at it till she bleeds, not knowing what happened until the morning when she awakens.
Please any help of any kind would be most appreciated. Thank you.

See need to see a Dr that is something that you cant put behind you i was rape at the age of 4 and still have not got over it she need a good Dr she can talk to she reliving the past and she don't know it plz get her to a Dr.

This girlfriend of yours has some serious issues to deal with which will manifest itself into other areas of her life. I cannot believe that you would be happy and settle for someone who is quite dysfunctional. Personal responsibility means that SHE needs to get some help and resolution for HER own problem before she engages in a relationship with someone else. I do believe that you are in for a rough ride buddy that is going to end up as a crash and burn. To be involved with someone doesn't mean we have to put up with their ineptitude's.
But I digress. Do the right thing, help her get some help and get out of the relationship as soon as possible. Find someone who is more mentally stable and compatible. These people who have all these mental health issues tend to hide their dysfunctions until after marriage and childbirth, then you are stuck and have even more problems. Wake up brother.

Hey it sounds like you really like your girlfriend, but still, this is her "baggage" and her problem. It's an issue SHE needs to deal with, and if it affects your sex life and that's important to you, then I suggest you cut her loose.
