I was bullied at school when I was 12 to 13 I'm looking at going to court about it can anyone else relate?

Im not talking just a push and a shove im talking full on assault sexual included, threats to kill. The school at one point writing a letter to my mum saying one of the students who had just got out of juvenile detention had threatened my life, and made threats to kill me. It was a sexual in nature the taunting they used and it still sends shivers down my spine, when I think about it. In fact I havnt gone back to that State since I left more than 12 years ago it wrecked my family life as well and my job holding ability has been almost nonexisistant except for my shrink who has helped me Ive now been able to at least try and hold a casual job. Im 31 years old, and I still live with that experience everyday when I go into work or crowd situations. I dont know what to say. By taking this legal action I hope to get some peace (inner peace)

You obviously have no idea what Im talking about so why answer. As for what you said about me being clued into reality, since when did you know anything about me other than what I mentioned briefly here? I live my life I pay my taxes but I still suffer from those days. You sound like a failed etrepranuer a low flying wannabe who uses the name scuba to sound cool.
Granted at least you aknowledged that Im getting help in your defense. The rest total rubbish.

I would get advice from three or four lawyers before you do this. First, you may be past the statute of limitations, 2) you will need to call witnesses to the bulling, can you do that easily since you have removed yourself from the state; 3) you are obviously talking about a civil not a criminal case, to have a civil case called you need to be able to establish (to some extent) the value of your hurt.

I was bullied in school quite a bit myself, though not nearly to the extent that you suffered. It has effected me to the point that I am very withdrawn from people. I do not trust quickly or easily.

Over time, I have come to grips with what happened to me, and I no longer have any feelings of anger about what I went through, yet the scars of those wounds remain, and it has greatly effected how I interact with people, or more accurately, how I avoid interaction with people.

To quite a degree, I think I understand a large part of how you feel. If you believe that going through legal action to bring those people to justice will bring you closure, then I think that you should do it.

What legal action are you talking about? I'd be really suspicious. It sounds like you are wanting money and are using this as an excuse. Why else wouldn't you have taken legal action years ago when this happened to you?

Blaming this on all the mistakes that you made in your life is pathetic. Talk about inability to take some personal responsibility for yourself. I'm glad you are seeing a professional at least that is a start. It's just too bad it took you so long to clue in to reality.

aren't you past the "statute of limitations"
since this happened back when your were 12 or 13 and now your 31? Maybe you should change shrinks cause it doesn't sound to me like the one you have has helped very much. For some reason, you still feel threatened after all this time.
