Vaginal oder?

the city i live in had a main water pipe break and the water backed up into the sewage system which contaminated all the water. they told us not to drink the water but never said anything about not showering. well its been about three to four days ago when that happened. Ive showered a couple times and today ive had discharge and a very foul smelling vagina,(smells like vomit) what could this be and what should i do?

remember this happened a couple days after the water became contaminated.

OH, my dear. I once lost a tampon up inside and in behind something "up in there"! Not funny at the time. I had been using two tampons at a time because of a heavy flow at the time and I was traveling on an assignment with my job. I noticed the smell while I was on location and I was absolutely scared to death that others could smell it as well. When I got home I went to the shower and had already started another period but I dived in there and dug around after talking with a girlfriend and it took a while but I found the stinky think in there and boy it was putrid! So, if it is not fishy smelling, and it's just plain old rotten smelling, then that might be it. It's worth checking. If you don't find anything, get yourself checked out. Good luck, sweetie. I don't think it's your water since you are probably using soap!
