Does anyone know of a good remedy to get rid of a staph infection? |
hello i posted about three hours ago the same question... i have been to the doctor... i dont have any medical insurance and the only thing they keep giving me is a week worth of antibiotics saying it will clear up and i have told them over and over again that it keeps comming and they insist its going to clear up this time... i live in louisiana and with the hurricane last year and all the sewage water and stuff it was an out break of staph infections... all my friends that had it got two weeks worth of antibiotics and it them cleaned out and they all had health insurance. but why is it if you dont have any you get the short end of the stick.... please someone help i am in a alot of pain Colloidal silver 500ppm, olive leaf extract, grapefruit seed extract. You can boost your immunity by using alternative medicine like Ayurveda... Different kinds of antibiotics have different ways that you treat them. Sometimes the dosage is for 10 days, 14 days, depends. It is really important to follow the directions exactly. do not stop taking the antibiotics until you have completely finished them. One of the problems with being on antibiotics for a longer amount of time is that they kill all the "good" bacteria. This can set you up for a really bad yeast infection. Another complication is that you can get an infection with a strain that is resistant to the antibiotic. That is why it is wise to seek the same doctor and make sure they know what you've taken and when. I wanted to say after i had my daughter by c-section i ended up with a staph infection in the cut and i was a walking time bomb by the time i got back to the hospital and they gave me antibiotics and sent me home well they didn't work and i ended up being admitted for about 3 days and had an iv of a drug called mafoxin its an antibiotic that's all that would work for me good luck i feel sorry for you and i truly understand I would suggest using potassium iodide taken internally. It is not the same thing as the iodine you get at the drugstore which could be poisoness if swallowed. MRSA varies by strain & the same antibiotic wont work for every one, & of cours if your frined was on an antibiotic & u got it before it cleared up then the bug will ave some resistance to that drug already , i just got it to & i was given bactrim DS(the generic ran me about $5 for 2 weeks supply) but, to no avail. |

Get a 2nd opinion, you need to go to the hospital and demand they see you and that this infection has been on going on untreated, and that you are miserable, and that antibiotics aren't helpi...
