Disgusting gym locker room..?

I like to take days off work too sometimes, but I don't think there is any excuse for the way our school janitors are treating the girl's locker room at school. The fact is, they are absolutely disgusting and a health hazard to everyone. The floor is covered with a film of only God-knows-what, the only toilet has no stall door, and the sewage backed up out of it last week and it's still clogged, the showers...ew, don't even get me started, there is no air conditioning or vent's in there (which with the humid, wet weather makes the locker rooms practically a sanctuary for bacteria). With the MRSA outbreaks along the east-coast (where I am), this suddenly seems like a big issue to me.Even when this issue has been brought to the attention to the school and school board, nothing is done.

My question is, is there some kind of law that makes this illegal?Can they really leave it this way?It's bad enough we're forced to take gym, but shouldn't we have the right of disease-free locker rooms?

oh my god that discusting. Get a petition write a brief letter and have all the girls sign it to get the janitor to clean the locker room. List reasons and why all the girls need a clean locker room.

Yes you do have a right to a clean locker room especially with the incidents of staph infection going around these days. It is unexcusable. I would call the health department, if they don't help you could even contact your local media. But don't stop pressing for change until the situation is resolved. If the county health department doesn't help contact the state. Or if desperate and none of the other suggestions have helped contact the state department of education, the Govenor's office. Or the national department of Education

Ya, there should be health policies, if you get a group of people together, you should look into it deeper.
