he as been on the ventilator 4 five days now is sedated but will open his eyes when you call his name occassionally we have been told that he is critically ill and there as been no change from when he had the op he has already had 2 kidney transplants previously 2 this could you tell me if this is normal 4 him 2 open his eyes or is this just brain activity also how long does it take for patients to recover from this he has septicemia and is on a filteration machine if he does recover from this what will his quality of life be he also has heart problems too There are way too many variables for anyone to be able to give you a good answer from the information you gave.
