Can ..........................?

i currently rent a house that has a septic system.for the last 4 months the septic has been overflowing into the yard and under the house.i notified the health department and they told the landlord to fix it.but that is not my question.my question is

can the smell or fumes from the broken septic cause headaches and just plain not feeling well.my 16 year old daughter(whos bedroom is right over septic tank and spillage) about 2 months ago started complaining about severe headaches, tiredness and just not feeling well.whats strange is that when we go out or somewhere or shes at school she seems fine.

Uhhh....you need to get on that ASAP! That can cause many health problems!

Absolutely ! Raw sewage and the chemicals released are dangerous. Call the health department again !

ABSOLUTELY, to second what the previous person wrote. CALL THEM - it's really not good for you!

Think you answered your own question, but as a doubt has crept in, now you have the answer, YES!
