Is there a tampon that exists that is safe for septic systems? |
Is there a tampon that exists that is safe for septic systems? I'm sure that the box will have a statement that says whether or not it's safe for septic systems. However, it is just better to wrap it up and throw it away. There is NOTHING yuckier than having to plunge it back up when it gets stuck, or more embarrassing than to have a plumber come out and tell you to your face that your tampons were the cause of blockages. its prob. ok to flush the used tampon. just don't use up so much toilet paper. You should try Playtex Beyond tampons. Their applicater is biodegradable and flushable. However, the actual tampon isn't. It's always best to wrap up your used tampon and trash it. Never throw your tampons down the toilet unless your plumber is cute (: Best of luck! |
