Due to widespread overuse of antibiotics, sepsis is becoming more and more common, as more people acquire infection from bacteria that are resistant to some antibiotics. However, most people are able to recover from these infections, and there are some very powerful new antibiotics in use, which are usually given intravenously, that can cure sepsis. |
