Why does blood pressure bottom out with sepsis?

Pathophysiology

Due to release of various inflammatory mediators that increase during sepsis, there is increase permeability (leaking) from the capillaries. This causes the Blood pressure to drop out.Correct me if I am wrong

When you have sepsis you are one extremely ill individual and your hemodynamics get very out of whack and your body is basically in shock causing a more rapid heart rate and in turn a lower blood pressure!
