exactly what does this mean by sepsis with multi organ system failer?

Sepsis is basically infection that has gotten into the bloodsteam. It makes you very sick because, if you think about it, it is kind of infection of the entire body, because blood needs to bring fuel everywhere.

Multi-organ system failure is used to describe exactly what it sounds like - many of the body's organs failing at once. Due to sepsis, many of the organs that need to filter wastes, provide oxygen, and acid-base balance to the body, even the heart.. they all fail / break down because the blood can not do its job properly.

This is a very simple explaination but hopefully helpful.

When you have a BAD infection it can cause your body to start shutting down. Basically its not good at all. Usually to give more energy to fight the disease.
