Can a blow over the back of the head that I recieved be the cause of senility,is there some way to prevent?

senility?

I am not senile or mentally ill.

Cranial-sacral therapy is available from a licensed massage therapist trained in this modality. It is incredibly powerful work but with just the lightest of touches, not massage strokes at all. It works with you laying on the table and having your head supported in the therapists hands. Fully clothed.
I fell out of a second story balconey before I was 2 yrs old and had severe difficulties, motor coordination, etc. It took over 40 years before I was introduced to it. After two years of twice a month therapy my cranial bones began to operate properly when I breathed, after being jammed by the impact/blow from the fall. The cranial bones move and act as part of the pump that moves the cerebro-spinal fluid up and down the spinal chord, as you breathe. The other end of the pump is the sacrum, which was also jammed. All medical doctors pooh-poohed this technique, but it was the only one that worked, after decades and decades of being poked, prodded, tested, MRIs, scannings, etc.

I now have an active full life with a fairly good retentive memory. I do alot of cross crawl exercises as well, and keep my mind sharp with word games, etc.

Also see a chiropractor, this is another specialist in this type of thing. And they can refer you to a valid, and reputable and cream of the crop cranial-sacral therapist.

There are also supplements, B12, and others that are excellent for keeping the brain's neural activity up and running in good form. Check out a respected health food store that offers workshops and informationals. Speak with alternative health care professionals.

Detox cleansing also helps to keep the brain clear and functioning. But that should be done under the supervision of your medical care provider.

Good health to you :)

There is now a drug which docs can prescribe, but they don't give it in the early stages.
It doesn't cure the disease but slows it down and alleviates some of the symptoms.
It is thought that the aging brain also flourishes when challenged, so the recommndation is that older people do brain stimulating things like cross-word puzzles, and sudoku; a variation on the "use it or lose it" applied to physical activity.
Brain damage is another thing altogether.
