Semen Quality?

Ive read on a site about semen analysis because i am worried about my fertility. It mentions that semen should come out thick but should liqiudify in 20 mins and if it doesnt this affect the sperms ability to move.

Does this mean it should completely liqiudify? cos i did a check. My semen is clear with thick white stringy bits through it(often yellowish) but although it seemed to have liqiudified by morning it still had some thick stringy bits that in it.

Is that wrong?

I want to get a fertilty test but asked my doctor and he said they only do them for couple who are trying for a baby!

Semen varies from person to person and from one person from day to day. What your semen looks like is not particularly related to the number and strength of sperm cells in it. Even though there are billions of sperm cells in each ejaculation, sperms cells make up a very small percentage of the liquid.

From what you describe, you are totally normal, have billions and billions of happy sperm cells, and have nothing to worry about.

You can now buy male fertility testing kits over the counter from pharmacies - it might put your mind at rest.

Dude, Relax. Every guy's body chemistry is different. Some guys have thick semen and some guys have watery. Some guys it shoots out and some guys it drips out. There is really no "normal" way for semen to come out. Relax, you're fine.
