Semen or vaginal discharge? I had sex with a condom, but it seemed to get ripped...?

I'm pretty scared. I had sex with boyfriend on Apr 6th with a condom, we thought the condom broke or so it seemed. We saw white stuff that looked and felt like semen on the condom and inside myself. It looked like the condom was broken but then we put water in the condom, there was no hole whatsoever. We then thought it mite be my own discharge, thickened for some reason. I'll be ovulating around Apr 10. Im scared of getting pregnant. If it was semen, how long does sperm live inside the woman's body? I heard it can live up to a week, which is scary. I just hope it was my cervical/vaginal discharge.

Don't worry too much. If the condom held water, it didn't break. Your body was just lubricating you with thicker discharge than you're used to seeing. Usually the vaginal discharge will look thin and clear like eggwhites when you ovulate.

Sperm can live for a couple days inside a woman's body, but the vaginal area is actually pretty unforgiving to the few that try to stick around. We're highly acidic and it kills them off. The lubrication you body makes creates a "highway" of sorts where they can swim safely without being burned to death. They would have to be supersperm to last 4 days.

Since it doesn't appear that the condom broke, I wouldn't worry. In the future, just make sure you're on some form of birth control, or use spermacide condoms. The spermacide paralizes any sperm that escape the safety of the condom so they can't swim upstream. Talk to your doctor about birth control methods that might be right for you.

And just so you know, even when condoms are used perfectly all the time, they're only about 85% effective for preventing pregnancy. That means a 15% chance of getting pregnant if all you use is a condom. (Of course, you can only get pregnant for about 3-4 days a month, so don't worry this time.)

It just might be semen. if the comdom didnt break,id call a doctor.

you should have got the condem and start to blow it like a ballon..no joke...that would have told you right there if it broke...

ha ha probs ur p ussy m8 but you might want to get a pregnency test just to be sure

Well sperm can live for up to 72 hours so you may want to get a test but not for a few days especially if you are unsure if you were ovulating. If no water came out my guess is that it was not broken but I would do a pregnancy test just to be sure

If the guy keeps thrusting after he comes sperm can get squeezed out of the condom at the base of the penis and end up on your vagina. Mostly on the outside. Not a big worry.
