PCOS & Selenium...?

I was informed by a vet that Selenium is given to cats with ovarian cysts. He said that early in their marraige, his wife was advised to have a hysterectomy (this was years ago) because of cysts on her ovaries. He gave her Selenium supplements, and within a few months they were gone.

Naturally, I ran right out and bought the supplements. LOL Being an unemployed college student with no health insurance makes one desperate.

Has anyone heard anything about this before?

I never heard of using Selenium for ovarian cysts. It would be worth a try.
